Safety & Health Assessment & Research for Prevention (SHARP) — Research for Safe Work Work-related injuries and illnesses are preventable. Keeping workers safe and healthy on the job leads to increased productivity, lower absenteeism and more affordable workers’ compensation insurance premiums. Washington State’s SHARP Program does the research needed to promote safe and healthy workplaces.
