The Society For Financial Awareness (SOFA) is a 501c3 nationwide nonprofit corporation whose mission, since 1993, is to increase financial literacy in the community. We accomplish this by providing free, on-site workshops on over 30 financial topics to help individuals gain knowledge and confidence in their financial affairs. All workshops are free of charge and satisfy employers' 404c obligation. By providing financial education and resources, employers see reduced distractions in the workplace, improved employee loyalty, and increased performance which improves their company's bottom line.
