RaMona Pinto
Eastern Washington Resource Manager, BIAWA
Ms. Pinto has worked in the health care field for more than 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis on Education and her Master’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Adult Learning Styles from Eastern Washington University. She also holds a degree in Gerontology and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Ms. Pinto has taught in the field of health and recovery for Eastern Washington University, Community Colleges of Spokane, state wide businesses and agencies. She offers workshops, in-service training and keynote speaking to educate both practitioners and the public on the health, wellness and recovery resources available. Her personal experience with a TBI survivor motivates her desire to be deeply involved in bringing about an awareness of the silent epidemic, that of Traumatic Brain Injury. She is currently the Eastern Washington Resource Manager for BIAWA, where she works to prevent, support, educate and advocate for those who are involved with the TBI community.
