Jared O’Connor

Education and Emergency Preparedness Specialist, Washington Poison Center

Jared O’Connor, MS, MPH, serves as Washington Poison Center’s Health Education and Emergency Preparedness Specialist. Jared provides poison prevention education, conducts community outreach, and develops and implements public health trainings throughout Washington. In his position he provides Train the Trainer education to nurses, educators and health professional on the dangers of E-cigs and Marijuana. Further, Jared administers the prominent medication website, www.takebackyoumeds.org for the purpose of combating the opioid epidemic that is ravaging Washington and other states. His other interests include traveling, gardening and home improvements.
