Kendra Broadwater

Kendra Broadwater has been an industrial hygienist with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) since 2013. Since coming to NIOSH, she has worked on a diverse set of projects including evaluating surgeons’ noise exposure during orthopedic surgery and studying gymnasium workers exposure to flame retardants. She has focused on helping women and minority communities through her work in nail salons. She has brought an occupational health perspective to emergency responses in Puerto Rico and Sierra Leone.
