Bruce Linton

Chief of Police, Tukwila Police Dept.

Chief Linton has been a member of the Tukwila PD for 24 years. He served in many capacities climbing the ranks to his current position as Chief of Police. Chief Linton implemented a UAS Program for the TPD in 2017. He is qualified as a FAA Remote Pilot and holds several Fixed and Rotary Winged FAA Certifications and Ratings. In 2007, he commanded an Aviation Task Force conducting operations in Kuwait and Southern Iraq. He continues his service at the rank of Brigadier General while assigned as the Land Component Commander for The Washington Army National Guard. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle University, a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from The U.S. Army War College.
