Bryon Myers has 26 years of experience in the forest products industry and an additional 19 years with the County PUD working with high-voltage powerlines, either on a tree crew, line crew and currently as a dispatcher. My schedule as a dispatcher allows me to have my own small logging business. In the last two years my business has evolved into a Logging Safety Consulting business. I was trained and worked as a third-party auditor for the Loggers Safety Initiative (LSI) and now I focus on private safety programs with contracts with Weyerhaeuser, Hancock Forest Management, Olympic Resource Management, as well as private logging companies. I am very passionate about the timber industry and want to contribute to creating the safest working environment possible. I believe that starts with the leadership on each crew. With strong safety orientated leadership, I believe you can change the attitude of others around you.
