Jeff Long, a Safety Management Specialist, and Master Instructor with Evergreen Safety Council has 31 years of experience as a Laborer, Operating Engineer, General Contractor, Safety Director, and Trainer / Consultant across Washington State. He is also an 18 year member of IUOE, Local 302. He utilizes his extensive experience to engage and empower training participants. Jeff has enjoyed the opportunity to instruct in a variety of areas including accident prevention, hazardous waste operations, high angle rescue, arc flash, construction safety, confined space entry and rescue, fall protection, personal protective equipment, rigging & signaling, forklift, flagger, pilot escort vehicle operation, emergency disaster preparedness, and confined space entry and non-entry rescue. Jeff also has a long history of instructing outside the construction industry that includes Wilderness First Aid, First Aid and CPR, and Hunter’s Education for the WA State Department of Fish and Game.
