Nancy Bernard, REHS, manages the WSDOH Indoor Air Quality and School Environmental Health and Safety Programs, providing technical assistance, resources, and training for local health jurisdiction and K-12 school staff. Areas addressed include IAQ, wildfire smoke, asthma triggers, integrated pest management, noise control, lighting, communicable and zoonotic diseases, cleaning, disinfection, playgrounds, lab, art, and shop safety, hazardous materials, and school design.
