Doug Hirsch, PE, CSP Doug Hirsch is a Senior Safety Manager for Signal Administration, Inc. His career in safety and health spans over 30 years, during which time he has been involved in numerous high hazard industries including: shipbuilding and repairing, marine construction, mining, maritime terminals, high-rise construction, and petrochemical operations. His past experiences have placed him in the leadership role of a team of 28 safety professionals, as well as provided the opportunity to work hands-on with companies to reach their objectives of reducing hazards, improving their safety management systems and increasing worker engagement. At Signal, Doug focusses on assisting companies to grow their overall safety management system through leadership accountability and employee driven change. He also spends his time working in the field assessing risk and helping to put into place controls that reduce them. Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Washington and holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation. Doug resides in Edmonds, Washington.
