Mark (Marcus) Mann is a professional freelance facilitator, leadership instructor, mediator, and recognized crisis negotiator. As Principal for Sound Predictions LLC, he’s known for high-energy, common-sense delivery, and pragmatic advice. He facilitates the strategy for optimum safety, problem-solving, and the rapid exchange of knowledge. He’s known for unconventional training in crucial conversations, and provides confidential support, expert testimony, and training related to Predictable Harm; Clues & Cues of Workplace Violence & Accidents, which is the topic of his most recent book published on Amazon in February 2019. Prior to the private sector, Marcus served 22 years in military service, public safety, and community leadership. In addition to working the street as an officer, he was responsible for the Hostage Negotiations Unit, Critical Incident Stress Management Team, and the Training Unit. He attended the University of Virginia (Quantico), graduating from the FBI National Academy (Session 211), specializing in behavioral science, employment law, and performance science. He is a Trauma Survivor and a Volunteer with Boots to Shoes; War Veteran Transitions, and served on the Governors Trauma Care Task Force (Wa), specifically addressing the speed of trauma care afforded our critically injured employees. He may be found hiking the trails of the great northwest with his dogs or near his Camano Island area home.
