Brian Poggioli
Ergonomist, The Boeing Company
Brian Poggioli is a Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) Ergonomics Engineer primarily supporting the Fabrication Division at the Auburn Site. He works with site organizations to identify, develop, & implement ergonomics mitigations in the factory. These mitigations are intended to help improve worker safety & process efficiency. He started at Boeing in January, 1998 supporting the ergonomics program at the Puget Sound defense sites. In late 1999, he moved to BR&T supporting the ergonomics program in Commercial Airplanes. Brian has spent at least some time supporting operations for ergonomics at every site in the Puget Sound (& some outside the Puget Sound). He has a master’s degree in Human Factors & a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Operations engineering. He is also a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). Brian grew up in a suburb of NYC, moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to attend college, & then moved out to the Puget Sound area to work at Boeing. He is an avid University of Michigan college sports fan (GO BLUE!). He enjoys playing golf, hockey, & spending time with his family in the off-hours.
