Josh has over 20 years of law enforcement police and security professional experience matched with an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Law and Justice, Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration, Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration and a second Master of Science Degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Josh has also earned his professional CPD (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) designation and served as a police officer in South King County (Burien, WA area). Josh is considered to be a very engaging dynamic public speaker and is a national instructor on Active Shooter Preparedness training. Josh is looking at earning his CPP (Certified Protection Professional) and PSP (Physical Security Professional) designations n 2019. Josh has chaired several workplace violence committees and sits on several community security boards in the state of Washington. He is also the current President and CEO of Homeland Patrol Division. Josh is currently a certified TASER instructor, defensive tactics and verbal judo instructor, active shooter preparedness instructor and also is a certified security trainer for the State of Washington. Lastly, he helps businesses conduct security vulnerability and risk assessments, which help identify vulnerabilities that through identification can be mitigated, limited or eliminated.
