Ryan Bellows

Vice President Government and External Relations, NV Energy

Ryan Bellows joined NV Energy in 2010 as its Director of Labor Relations and Chief Negotiator and was promoted in 2021 to Vice President, Government and External Relations.  Ryan leads NV Energy's outreach and collaboration with elected officials and community partners throughout the State.  Ryan has helped transform the company's labor relations into one of collaboration and respect; a relationship that has been referred to as the "gold standard" by the IBEW.   Prior to joining NV Energy, Ryan was a lawyer in private practice at the McDonald Carano Wilson law firm in Reno, Nevada where he advised and trained some of Nevada's largest employers on labor and employment issues.  Ryan received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University where he served on the law review and graduated in the top 10% of his class.  Ryan has received the highest "AV Preeminent" Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, was named a "Rising Star" by the publication Super Lawyers, and was a member of the Reno Gazette-Journal's 2010 Top Twenty Under 40 Class.
