Larry retired from the Army as Director of Training and Development for HR Operations at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in 2017 and roles include: Pierce Transit’s Learning and Development Administrator and DEI Development Manager and Lead DEI Learning and Design Professional for Department of Enterprise Services. He brings knowledge and experience in workforce development; diversity, equity, and inclusion competency training; and human-centered leadership to his role as the DEI Manager for Department of Fish and Wildlife, He has a significant track-record of investing in employees, delivering training grounded in emotional intelligence to diverse audiences, and championing real-world solutions to removing systemic barriers and advancing practices that promote a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace.
