Shelly Baldwin

Director, Washington Traffic Safety Commission

Governor Jay Inslee appointed Shelly Baldwin as Director of the Washington Traffic Safety Commission in February 2021. Ms. Baldwin is the first woman to serve in this position. She has worked in traffic safety in various roles for more than 25 years, and has a deep commitment to the agency’s Target Zero mission of eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries.
