Kevin Taulbee

Electrical Engineer, Safety Training Coordinator, PowerStudies Inc.

Kevin Taulbee is an electrical engineer and certified e-Hazard instructor with PowerStudies, Inc.  He has dedicated his career to worker safety and specialized in electrical and lockout/tagout safety.  He spent ten years working for OSHA out of the Frankfort, KY office in both compliance and consultation.  He has conducted on-site safety and health audits, technical assistance, and training for companies across the United States.  He has specialized in electrical, machine guarding, lockout/tag-out, process safety management, and is well versed on OSHA, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, ASME, and ISO requirements.  His ten years of experience included tackling safety and health issues in nearly every field imaginable from construction and logging to robotics and chemical plants.  As an engineer, he is now a project manager in charge of arc flash studies, short circuit studies, protective device coordination, load flow analysis, and harmonics studies. He has been working in the northwest for the past 5 years and is a member of the Olympia ASSP chapter.
